Vijayawada:The Sports Meet organised by the Andhra Pradesh Special Protection Force (APSPF), Vijayawada Zone, concluded successfully, with the primary objective of enhancing physical fitness, discipline and team spirit among personnel.
Units under the Vijayawada Zone including Vijayawada GADS, AP Secretariat, AP High Court, Airport Unit and Dr NTTPS Unit participated enthusiastically in the competitions. Officers and personnel from all units actively contributed to the smooth conduct of the event.
Assistant Commandants, Inspectors, other APSPF officers and Government Press DGM Mohan Kumar were present and extended their cooperation in organising the sports meet.
The two-day sports meet was held on January 3 and 4 at the Government Printing Press, Mutyalampadu.
The event was conducted under the guidance of APSPF Director General Dr Trivikram Varma, IPS, with supervision from IG B.V. Ramireddy and Commandant M. Shankara Rao, and was efficiently coordinated by Vijayawada GADS Assistant Commandant P. Sundar Rao.
In the competitions, the AP Secretariat Unit emerged as the overall champions. Officials congratulated the winning team for their outstanding performance and appreciated all participants for making the event a success.
