The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to commence the 2025 board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students across the country and abroad from February 15. In Indore, around 40 exam centres will host thousands of students for their final exams.
For Class 10 students, the first exam will be English, with the papers being split into English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature). These exams will be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Meanwhile, Class 12 students will take their entrepreneurship exam during the same time slot. This year, a staggering 44 lakh students will appear for the CBSE exams, which will be conducted in approximately 8,000 schools across India and 26 countries worldwide.
The board has issued detailed guidelines to ensure smooth exam conduct, focusing on exam ethics, dress codes, and a list of permitted and prohibited items in the exam hall.
Students are advised to carry their admit cards and a valid school identity card (for regular students) or a government-issued photo ID (for private students). They are also encouraged to carefully read the instructions on both the question paper and the answer booklet before beginning the exam.
Important Exam Guidelines:
The CBSE has specified the following items that students are allowed to bring into the exam hall:
* Transparent pouch, geometry box, blue/royal blue pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, analogue watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and money. Students are prohibited from carrying:
* Stationery items like calculators, pen drives, log tables, or any electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, and cameras.
* Wallets, handbags, and pouches.
* Food, except for diabetic students who may bring eatables. Dress Code: Regular students must wear their school uniforms, while private students are permitted to wear light clothes.
The CBSE exams, scheduled to run for several weeks, are a critical milestone for students, and the board has taken extensive measures to ensure fairness and integrity in the process. Students and parents alike are urged to follow the guidelines strictly to avoid any disruptions on exam day
