On the second day of Ontimitta Sri Kodandarama Swamy Brahmotsavam, devotees thronged the four streets of Venuganalankaram temple.

The ceremony began at 7.30 in the morning. Devotees thronged temples to pay obeisance to Lord Shiva with chants and bhajans. Devotees thronged the temple and offered prayers to the deity.

The ceremony began at 11 in the morning. In this, milk, curd, honey and sandalwood were offered to the Lord.

Deputy EO Prashanthi, Temple Superintendent Hanumanthaiah, Temple Inspector Naveen and a large number of devotees participated in the event.

The annual Brahmotsavams began with the hoisting of the flag at Chandragiri Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple on Saturday morning. Special poojas were performed in the temple.

As part of this, a flag hoisting ceremony was held between 8 am and 8.45 am inviting all the deities to the Brahmotsavams. On this occasion, special poojas were also performed by the devotees. Later, amid chanting of Vedic hymns by the priests and chanting of Rama's name by the devotees, the flag was hoisted atop the flagpole. The programme was held under the leadership of Shri.

Superintendent Sri Gnana Prakash, Temple Inspector Sri Dinesh and a large number of devotees participated in the programme.
