India all-rounder Nitish Reddy visits Tirupati, climbs stairs on knees

India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy visited the Tirupati temple after his return from Australia. Nitish posted video snippets from his short trip, where he can be seen climbing the stairs of the temple on his knees. The all-rounder's videos have gone viral over the internet as the country celebrates his sensational outing in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.Earlier, Nitish Kumar Reddy received a grand and emotional welcome in Visakhapatnam following his stellar performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. The seam-bowling all-rounder, who emerged as one of the biggest finds of the series, was greeted by jubilant fans, family members, and the media upon his arrival.

The 21-year-old was showered with yellow petals and adorned with a massive garland by ecstatic supporters at the airport. Visuals shared on social media showed Nitish seated in the front of an open jeep, with his father, Mutyalu Reddy, accompanying him. The caravan moved through the streets of Gajuwaka, Nitish's hometown in Visakhapatnam, as fans cheered for their local hero.
