Nidadavole/Rajahmundry, October 27, 2025:State Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography Kandula Durgesh conducted a review meeting with officials at the Nidadavole Tahsildar office on Monday to assess preparedness in view of the impending impact of Cyclone ‘Montha’. He instructed authorities to take all necessary precautionary measures to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience.
Emphasizing public safety as the top priority, the Minister directed officials to remain fully alert and ensure uninterrupted functioning of essential services such as drinking water supply, power, transport, and healthcare. He also urged timely relief and rescue operations in cyclone-affected areas and advised officials to pay special attention to the distribution of essential commodities, if required.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Minister Kandula Durgesh said the government is fully prepared to tackle the effects of Cyclone ‘Montha’. He appealed to the public to stay vigilant and remain calm, assuring that all necessary arrangements have been made to safeguard their welfare.
