Nuzvid, June 1:With COVID-19 cases on the rise across the country, Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Housing and Information & Public Relations, Kollu Parthasaradhi, has urged people to stay alert and cautious. Speaking at a meeting in Nuzvid, the minister advised the public to avoid gatherings and strictly follow preventive measures.
Key Guidelines from the Minister:
Social distancing is mandatory at railway stations, bus stands, and airports.
Wearing masks is compulsory in public places.
Elderly citizens and pregnant women should avoid going out unless absolutely necessary.
Mandatory COVID tests for individuals arriving from abroad.
Health officials must ensure the availability of PPE kits and masks.
He emphasized that the government machinery is fully prepared to handle any situation that may arise. Government hospitals should be fully equipped to provide quality treatment, and coordination among healthcare personnel is essential, he said.

Local officials at village and mandal levels should raise awareness about COVID precautions.
Sanitization, wearing masks, and maintaining personal hygiene are crucial in combating the virus.
Medical camps and rapid COVID testing must be conducted at the field level.
