Adi Shankaracharya worshipped Goddess Gayatri as the embodiment of infinite power...
Gayatri in the morning
In the afternoon as Savitri
As Saraswati in the evening evening
In all the three sandhyas, it is worshipped with the upasakas. In those who perform Gayatri Upasana, the intellect and radiance will develop. The chanting of gayatri mantra gives the same result as recitation of the four Vedas.
According to the Puranas, Goddess Gayatri is blessed with fire in her face, Lord Brahma in her head and Lord Mahavishnu in her heart.
On the second day of sharannavaratras, durgamma is situated on indrakeeladri in vijayawada and on the second day gayatri devi appears in the adornment. Those who perform Navratri puja at home also worship Gayatri on this day. In Navadurga, Gayatri Devi is known as Chandraghanta.
In the Gayatri mantra, every agnyaram is bijaakshara.. It is said in the Rig Veda that chanting this one mantra is like praying to all the gods. It is said that if this mantra is chanted in a certain way or listened to with devotion, all mental problems will be removed. Chanting this mantra increases happiness, positive thoughts and self-confidence.
Those who chant the Gayatri mantra regularly feel the constant vibrations in the brain. Those who chant the Gayatri Mantra regularly will get success in any work they do. Gayatri Mantrapasana makes a person intelligent and courageous. If the Gayatri mantra is chanted regularly, it affects the throat and anguti and spreads from there to the navanadus. The seven chakras in the body are activated by this effect. The Gayatri Mantra is also used to gain control over the senses. That is why the Gayatri Mantra is the best, even though there are many mantras in the Hindu dharma shastras. Vishvamitra said that there is nothing in the four Vedas equivalent to the Gayatri Mantra.
Pulihora should be offered as an offering to Goddess Gayatri.
