MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) Inaugurates Free Mega Medical Camp Organized by Kesineni Foundation
Vijayawada: MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) has announced that free medical camps will be held every 20 days in the region to improve the health and well-being of the people, particularly the underprivileged and middle-class residents of the western constituency. Speaking at the event, he emphasized the need to address the negligence of minor health issues, which often lead to larger problems. He stated that the primary goal is to enhance public health standards and improve the quality of life.
On Sunday, Kesineni Foundation conducted a free mega medical camp at KBN College Grounds in Kothapeta. The camp was inaugurated by MP Kesineni Sivanath and MLA Sujana Chowdary, who began the program by offering floral tributes to the statue of NTR. They toured the camp, which featured various departments such as orthopedics, general medicine, gynecology, and varicose veins treatments, and distributed free medicines to the patients.
The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 3,000 people availing themselves of the medical services. Around 500 patients were treated in general medicine, 750 underwent eye examinations, 1,250 received consultations for varicose veins, 250 sought orthopedic care, and 350 visited the gynecology department.
During the event, MP Kesineni Sivanath highlighted the prevalence of varicose veins issues in the constituency and stated that the camp was organized to address this specific concern. He assured free surgeries and medicines for those in need. Additionally, in collaboration with the voluntary organization HEAL, prosthetic limbs would be provided free of cost to accident victims who have lost their arms or legs. He reiterated the NDA government's commitment to prioritizing public health.
Focus on Urban Development
MP Kesineni Sivanath, along with MLA Sujana Chowdary, stated that urban development remains a key focus. As per Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's directive, special attention will be given to resolving issues like drinking water supply, stormwater drainage, and sanitation in the hilly regions of the western constituency. Proposals for allocating funds for infrastructure in Vijayawada are to be submitted during the upcoming budget session.Efforts are underway to improve roads and other amenities in the city in coordination with Collector Lakshmisha and Municipal Commissioner Dhyanachandra. The goal is to transform Vijayawada into a clean and green city by expanding roads, creating junctions with fountains, and enhancing overall aesthetics.
MP Kesineni Sivanath expressed gratitude to NTR Trust, Go Hospitals, Shankar Eye Hospital, and KBN College management for their support.
MLA Sujana Chowdary commended the initiative, emphasizing the need for every individual to enjoy comprehensive healthcare. He praised MP Kesineni Sivanath for offering corporate-level medical services free of charge and called for more such camps in various areas.
The program was attended by prominent leaders, including TDP state representative K. Nagul Meera, TDP executive secretary M.S. Beg, Minority Cell general secretary Mohammed Fathavulla, AP Building and Other Construction Advisory Committee Chairman Gottumukkala Raghurama Raju, T.N.T.U.C. state vice president Parchuri Prasad, TDP state women's vice president Shaik Asha, Telugu Yuvatha president Kandregula Ravindra, T.N.S.F district general secretary P. Charan Sai Yadav, and others. Local leaders and corporators also participated in the event.
