Pawan Kalyan Seeks Accountability and Apologizes for Tirupati Stampede
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed deep concern over the recent tragedy in Tirupati and apologized to the public, stating, “What happened is tragic; I apologize.” He called for a complete overhaul of the TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) operations to ensure such incidents do not recur.
Pawan Kalyan demanded that TTD EO and Additional EO take full responsibility for the failure. He criticized officials Syamala Rao and Venkayya Chowdary for their inefficiency in handling the situation.
He further insisted on a full-scale inquiry into the incident and strict action against those found responsible. Stressing the importance of prioritizing the needs of common devotees, he urged TTD to focus on providing better darshan facilities for them.
