PUTTAPARTHI: India will emerge as number one in the world with  moral value based education being imparted to students. He stressed the need for building a good society by making service is a way of life observed Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan. He advised the students to become ambassadors of India and make it largest economic power centre.

The Vice-President of India participated as chief guest of 44th convocation of Sri Sathya Sai    Institute of Higher Learning here today. Speaking on the occasion, he described it as unforgettable day for him to be present among most disciplined atmosphere. He said under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the world is listening to India at present.

He said highest priority should be given to research projects and more money should be allotted towards research programmes. Stating that youngsters with highest moral values and discipline are a ray of hope for sustainable development of the country. He said that he witnessed the enthusiasm of students when Minister Nara Lokesh appealed them to enter politics, which indicates the readiness of students  to emerge as future leaders. He said India saved lives of lakhs of people in several countries by supplying covid vaccine free of cost at the time of covid crisis. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi supplied covid vaccines free of cost indicating the greatness of India. He advised the students to follow the principles imbibed in Satya Sai educational institutions wherever they go for employment and serve people to protect our culture and traditions.

Earlier the Vice president of India presented gold medals to some of the students who excelled in their respective subjects. He also launched Satya Sai Institutes Bio bank and Research hub.

Speaking on the occasion as guest of honour Chief Minister N Chanrababu Naidu congratulating the young graduates, said that the institute transformed them as professionally competent, socially responsible and spiritually aware individuals. He appealed to the students to uphold the values of selfless service, compassion and integrity as they are entering new chapter of their life.  He said that the great Sai Sidhantam of Love all – serve all and help ever – hurt never should be carried out through their life. Describing them as best young brains influenced by great philosophy of Bhagawan, the Chief Minister said that they will become ambassadors to take forward  Baba’s teachings to ensure global peace and happiness.

The Chief Minister said India was has an advantage of demographic dividend with more talented young generation and strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With all these advantages India emerged as Number 4 in economy and sure to emerge as Number one by 2047. To achieve this we are focusing on new futuristic sectors including AI data centre, quantum computer, aerospace, drone, space, semiconductors and defence. With all this India will become global leader and the young generation has to play key role in development of the country.

Minister for IT Nara Lokesh addressing the students appealed them to join politics with their good value based education background to serve the society.

Sri Sathya Sai Insitute of Higher learning vice-chancellor B Raghavendra Prasad, Sathya Sai central trust managing trustee R Ratnakar and institution heads were present.
