Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to foray into active politics. The actress is gearing up for her political debut by contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha election in 2024 on a BJP ticket. Kangana’s political entry has been confirmed by her father, Amardeep Ranaut, who also revealed that clarity on Kangana’s constituency will emerge after BJP’s decision.
Recently, Kangana Ranaut met with BJP’s National President JP Nadda at her residence in Kullu. The meeting sparked a huge speculation about the Tejas actress’ entry into the political arena with the ruling party’s support. For the past few years, Kangana has been a loyal supporter of the BJP and she has been quite vocal about the party’s political and religious ideologies.
Kangana hails from the Sarahan village in the Sarkaghat constituency of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. A few months ago, she had opened up about her political aspirations during a media interaction in Dwarka. On the work front, Kangana is currently shooting for an as-yet-untitled psychological thriller alongside her Tanu Weds Manu co-star Madhavan.
