Priyanka Chopra clarified that Citadel 2 will indeed be made.

Global sensation Priyanka Chopra starred in Prime Video’s American spy thriller series Citadel, which received solid viewership. The Russo Brothers served as the executive producers. A couple of spin-off series were also released, including the Indian version Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan 

However, the streaming platform has officially cancelled the upcoming seasons of Citadel: Honey Bunny and the Italian version Citadel: Diana. Amid the ongoing discussion about the original version’s status, Priyanka Chopra clarified that Citadel 2 will indeed be made.

In an interview with Variety, she said, “We have Season 2, for sure, but the rest? I have no idea. I don’t ask. I go to work, do my job and I leave.” Reportedly, storylines from Citadel: Honey Bunny and Citadel: Diana will be woven into the mothership series Citadel 2. The first season of Citadel reportedly cost $300 million, making it one of the most expensive TV series ever made.
