AP Tourism Authority signs MoU with Indian Culinary Institute to promote AP as a Culinary Tourism hub
Amaravati: The AP Tourism Authority signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Culinary Institute today in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to promote AP as a Culinary Tourism hub.
Representatives of the Indian Culinary Institute and Special Chief Secretary (Tourism) Ajay Jain exchanged the MoU documents.
The collaboration will help to promote Telugu cuisine at national and international platforms. It will also focus on skill development programs in the culinary sector, enhancing employment and livelihood opportunities for youth.
As part of the MoU, the institute will collaborate with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority in organising food festivals and tourism events.
The initiative is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s tourism ecosystem by integrating food culture with travel experiences, thereby attracting both domestic and international tourists.
Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, AP Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Nukasana Balaji and representatives of the AP Hotel Associations were present .
