Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu recently laid the foundation for several development and welfare initiatives in Naravaripalli under the Chandragiri constituency. Accompanied by State Education Minister Nara Lokesh, Chittoor MP Daggubati Prasad Rao, Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani, and District Collector Dr. S. Venkateshwar, the CM emphasized his government's commitment to holistic development.
Key Highlights of the CM’s Visit to Naravaripalli:
1. Drip Irrigation Equipment Distribution:
As part of the Andhra Pradesh Micro Irrigation Project (APMIP), the CM handed over drip irrigation equipment to two farmers, Balram Naidu and Jyothi. He directed officials to ensure all eligible farmers are covered under the project, with District APMIP Officer Satish present.
2. 33/11 kV Semi-Indoor Substation:
The CM unveiled the plaque and laid the foundation for a ₹4.27 crore substation to enhance power supply. He emphasized covering every household with solar panels while suggesting improvements to APSPDCL CMD Santosh Rao.
3. Development Works Under National Employment Guarantee Scheme:
The Chief Minister unveiled the plaque and laid the foundation for 26 development works worth ₹3.21 crore under the National Employment Guarantee Scheme in the jurisdiction of three secretariats in Naravaripalli village. PD DWMA Srinivasa Prasad was present at the event.
4. State-of-the-Art School Upgradation:
In collaboration with Sri City, the Rangampeta Zilla Parishad High School will be upgraded with advanced facilities at a cost of ₹1.10 crore. The project includes a computer lab, IFP panels, a kitchen shed, a dining hall, an AI robotics lab, and sports infrastructure.
5. Anganwadi Worker Capacity Building:
The CM oversaw an MoU exchange between the Department of Women and Child Welfare and Care & Grow, launching a pilot project in Tirupati district. The initiative aims to improve the skills of Anganwadi workers in eight centers, focusing on children’s physical, mental, and educational development.
6. EziMart Collaboration for Rural Women:
A partnership was formalized between EziMart and DRDA-Velugu to empower rural women by enabling them to supply goods to local stores from their homes. DRDA PD Shoban Babu and EziMart Founder and CEO Venkat Nallapati participated.
7. FPO Registration for Mango Farmers:
The CM handed over registration certificates to an FPO comprising 200 mango farmers from five villages near Naravaripalli. He encouraged them to leverage government schemes for infrastructure, marketing, and direct sales to entities like Big Basket and Reliance.
8. E-Autos for SC Women Groups:
SC women under DRDA-Velugu and SC Corporation were provided with 15 e-autos, each with a ₹1.5 lakh subsidy. The CM highlighted the environmental benefits and reduced operational costs, with Panchayat Officer Sushila Devi in attendance.
