CM to interact with farmers: Focus on value addition to agricultural produce
AMARAVATI: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate in Rytanna Mee Kosam work shop to be organized at Nallajarla village of Gopalapuram constituency in East Godavari district tomorrow.
As per schedule the Chief Minister will arrive at Nallajarla at 10.55 a.m tomorrow and inspect fields. Later he will interact with farmers as part of Rytanna Mee Kosam workshop focusing on value addition to agricultural produce and address a public meeting at Praja Vedika. He will attend cadre meeting at Nallajarla at 1.45 p.m and return to residence at Undavalli at 4.05 p.m.
It may be noted that the state government organized door to door campaign on Rytanna Mee Kosam programme for one week to bring awareness among farmers on Pancha Sutras (Five principles) to be adopted to make agriculture profitable. The Pancha Sutras include adopting Modern agriculture methods to get minimum support price, encouragement to natural farming, necessity to bring down cultivation cost, value addition to agricultural products and providing global marketing facilities to agricultural products.
In the evening the Chief Minister will attend International Day of Persons with Disabilities programme to be organized at Tummalapalli Kala Kshetram in Vijayawada at 6 p.m
