    CM launch distribution of pattadar pass books under Mee Bhoomi-Mee Hakku

    RAYAVARAM (East Godavari dist): A small farmer Kantipudi Satyasaibaba of Rayavaram village in Mandapeta constituency of East Godavari district is very happy as he received Pattadar pass book of his land with Government seal from Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu himself today. After handing over the pattadar pass book the Chief Minister asked him to scan the QR code in his pass book through his mobile phone and reached his land with the help of map.  The farmer said that  receiving of pattadar pass book from government instill confidence among  farmers.

    Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu participated in pattadar pass books distribution at Rayavaram village today. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that owning land is a sentiment to farmers and their families as they possessed it from their ancestors. However the farmers were disturbed a lot during previous government’s regime with land disputes and  Land Ttitling Act. The coalition government abolished the Land Titling Act immediately after coming to power and now distributing pattadar pass books with Government emblem. He said that the land survey was conducted in a transparent manner and now distributing pass book with the slogan of Mee Bhoomi- Mee Hakku. He said block chain technology is being used to prevent tampering of land records. He said 22.33 lakh pass books were ready in 6688 villages where resurvey was completed. He said MPs, MLAs and other public representatives should own responsibility to distribute the pattadar pass books in a transparent manner. He said the previous government spent Rs 660 crore towards printing the photo of former chief minister on survey stones.

    The Chief Minister said that those lands which were put under 22A forcefully were removed from the 22A list. He said the Nala Act was abolished and the powers of Joint collectors were decentralized. He said that the coalition government has been giving priority for both welfare and development. As a result of speed of doing business and speed of delivering governance Andhra Pradesh attracting huge investments.

    Referring to festivals, the Chief Minister said that the state government declared Jaggannatota Prabhala Teertham as state festival. He stressed the need for protecting our culture and traditions. Several places in East Godavari district including Vadapalli, Katrenikona, Bhimavaram, Nallajerla, Medunuru, Mummidivaram, Mogaltur, Palakollu, Gangalakuru Agraharam, Pulletikurru were noted for Prabhala teertham reflecting our culture. He said that he was gifted with an opportunity of organizing Godavari festival for third time.

    Speaking on politicizing water sharing issues, the Chief Minister said that some people are trying to politicize Rayalaseema lift irrigation scheme. He said if Polavaram project is completed, Telangana state can also utilize the surplus water. He said using Pattiseema lift irrigation Godavari water diverted to Krishna river and the water saved in Krishna river was supplied to Rayalaseema region and as a result Rayalaseema emerged as horticultural hub. There is no meaning in disputes between two Telugu states over utilizing the Godavari excess water flowing into sea.
