CM's stress on providing marketing facility for DWCRA products
Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu proposed branding of DWCRA products in the name of Swayam. He stressed the need for providing marketing facility for DWCRA products.
The Chief Minister conducted a meeting today to finalise the name for branding DWCRA products. He reviewed on different brand names suggested by officials and finalised Swayam for branding DWCRA products.He directed the officials to develop a logo design to reflect the branding name. Praising DWCRA women for maintaining product quality, the Chief Minister stressed the need for providing both domestic and global marketing facility for DWCRA products.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to prepare action plan to develop people of weaker sections as micro entrepreneurs.
Addressing a review meeting on BC welfare at secretariat today the Chief Minister said RO plants should be installed in residential schools and hostels. The officials informed the Chief Minister that RO plants will be installed in 814 BC welfare hostels by March at a cost of Rs 17 crore.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to use Rs 60 crore Sasci funds for construction of welfare schools and hostels.He said more focus should be made on health and food of students.He said six Mahatma Jyotirao Pule residential schools should be upgraded as junior colleges.He said BC residential schools should be set up in all constituencies.He said BC study circles should be further strengthened to benefit students of weaker sections.
