    CM Naidu to Leave for Davos to Showcase Andhra Pradesh at World Economic Forum

    CM's intensive itinerary comprises 36 engagements in 4 days 
    - To interact with government representatives, global industry giants and CEOs
    - Will attend Telugu Diaspora meeting to be attended by NRTs of 20 countries
    - CM to return to India on January 23

    Amaravati, : Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a four-day visit to Davos from January 19 to 22 to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, leading a delegation of Ministers and senior officials from Andhra Pradesh. The visit features 36 confirmed engagements, reflecting a structured and intensive global outreach programme and media interactions.

    The Chief Minister’s schedule features 16 one-on-one meetings with global business leaders, 9 roundtables and thematic sessions, 3 government-to-government meetings, plenary sessions, interactions with leading international media, and a Telugu Diaspora programme, all aimed at strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s global partnerships and expanding its investment portfolio.

    The Chief Minister will leave Vijayawada at 8:35 pm on Sunday for New Delhi and proceed onward to Zurich, arriving on the morning of January 19. In Zurich, he will meet H.E. Mr. Mridul Kumar, Ambassador of India to Switzerland, followed by meetings with Eros Innovation Chairman and Founder Mr. Kishore Lulla, Co-Founder and Co-President Ms. Ridhima Lulla, and Co-President Mr. Swaneet Singh. Later in the day, he will attend a Telugu Diaspora programme at the Indian Embassy, bringing together Non-Resident Telugus from 20 countries, and will address the gathering.

    From Zurich, the Chief Minister will travel by road to Davos. On the first day of the WEF, he will participate in a government-to-government meeting with H.E. Mr. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, along with representatives from various countries. He will also meet Tata Sons Chairman Mr. N. Chandrasekaran and CII Director General Mr. Chandrajit Banerjee.

    On the second day, the Chief Minister will participate in the CII Breakfast Session titled “India at the Centre: The Geography of Growth – The Andhra Pradesh Advantage” at Hotel Morosani Promenade, followed by his presence at the inauguration of the India Lounge organised by the Government of India. He will hold one-on-one meetings with IBM Chairman and CEO Mr. Arvind Krishna, Google Cloud CEO Mr. Thomas Kurian, NVIDIA Vice President Ms. Calista Redmond, AP Moller–Maersk CEO Mr. Vincent Clerc, JSW Group Chairman Mr. Sajjan Jindal, Mr. Parth Jindal, and John Cockerill Group CEO Mr. Jean-Luc Maurange, among others. IT Minister Nara Lokesh will be present during key technology and industry meetings.

    The Chief Minister will also participate in the Energy Transition Leaders’ multilateral meeting, the “One Family – One Entrepreneur” panel discussion at the AP Lounge, followed by interaction with global media outlets.

    On the third day, the Chief Minister will attend multiple WEF sessions at the Congress Centre, including discussions on industrial transformation, AI and the global economy, climate finance, regenerative food systems, and net-positive growth. He will deliver a keynote address at Bloomberg’s event “Leaders’ Circle - The Trillions of Dollars AI Moment: Transforming the Global Economy.” He will engage in additional meetings with global industry leaders and institutional representatives, and hold interactions with international media.

    Overall, during the Davos visit, the Chief Minister will participate in 36 engagements, including 3 inter-governmental meetings, 16 one-on-one meetings with global CEOs, 9 roundtables and panel discussions, and plenary sessions. 

    The Chief Minister will depart from Zurich on January 22 and arrive in Hyderabad on the morning of January 23, concluding a visit aimed at further cementing Andhra Pradesh’s position as a future-ready, global investment destination.
