Visakhapatnam: The state government has provided welfare schemes worth Rs750 crore in Vizag East Constituency till date, said Vizag MP and YSRC coordinator M.V.V. Satyanarayana. Speaking at a Grama Sachivalaya Atmeeya Sabha on Wednesday, Satyanarayana said "People of the Constituency have been given 20,000 housing plots."
He asked the conveners of all village secretariats to work together with people and ensure that eligible beneficiaries get the benefits of the government's welfare schemes.
Addressing the gathering, he said "Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should win in the upcoming elections. Towards this effort, gram secretariat conveners and gruhasharads must play a key role in informing people about the government’s schemes."
Along with Mayor Hari Venkat Kumari, Satyanarayana inaugurated the Rs3.45 crore Oota Gedda Park in the 28th ward.
