Amaravati: Marking a major development of providing better connectivity to Amaravati capital Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today inaugurated    Amaravati Seed Access Road and steel bridges connecting Vijayawada- Guntur old highway. With the inauguration of Seed access road connecting bridges, direct access to Amaravati capital city will turn more easier and comfortable for motorists.
Later addressing a public meeting at the venue,   the Chief Minister said Amaravati will be developed as world class capital following five principles including  electric poles-free city, blue city with abundant water bodies, green city with greenery everywhere, Green energy city and deep tech knowledge city with emerging quantum valley.
Chandrababu Naidu said some people had mocked Amaravati’s plans as mere “graphics”,  added that those designs were now becoming reality. “When the graphics are turning into reality, those who mocked them should bow their heads,” he remarked. The Chief Minister said the government had planned development not only for Amaravati but also for all regions of the State through decentralised growth. He recalled the farmers’ movement between 2019 and 2024, saying history would not forget their struggle and that he and his party had supported the farmers during the movement. He said water and soil had been brought from sacred rivers and important regions across the country and mixed in Amaravati as a symbol of blessings for the capital. He said  Lord Venkateswara temple was constructed in Amaravati.
The Chief Minister said the Seed Access Road had now become the “royal road” to the Amaravati capital and described its completion as only the beginning of the city’s development. In its third phase, the road would be connected to the national highway at Tadepalli, he said. Amaravati would be developed as a completely pollution-free city and a deep-tech capital, with plans to transform it into an AI and Quantum Computing Valley. The Chief Minister said Amaravati, Mangalagiri, Tadepalli, Guntur and Vijayawada corporations would remain within the capital region.
The Chief Minister said the Centre had also sanctioned a 190-km Outer Ring Road and a 96-km Inner Ring Road and further stated that fully developed Amaravati  capital admired by India will be inaugurated by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi during 2028.He said road infrastructure in Amaravati was being developed on the lines of the planned access roads of ancient civilisations such as the Indus Valley Civilisation. Amaravati, he declared, was now “unstoppable”, despite attempts by some individuals to obstruct its development.
The Chief Minister called upon people to make a collective resolve to transform Andhra Pradesh into Swarna Andhra by 2047 and contribute to the development of the State and the country.Referring to the 80th Independence Day celebrations, he urged people by holding national flag  and with  a clear agenda in their minds,  set measurable goals for the future. He said merely hoisting the national flag was not enough and that the real objective should be to place India among the world’s leading nations. Farmers, students, workers, entrepreneurs and professionals should contribute through their efforts in their respective fields, he said.Naidu called for the national flag to be hoisted atop every house and commercial establishment and urged people to organise Tiranga rallies at the mandal, Assembly constituency and district levels. He described the Tiranga rallies as a people’s movement and said India should become a developed nation over the next 21 years, while Andhra Pradesh should become Swarna Andhra by 2047.
The Chief Minister also appealed to people to contribute ideas for Amaravati’s development and said the capital should emerge as the economic capital of the State. He called upon everyone to draw inspiration from Independence Day and work towards building a healthy, wealthy and happy Andhra Pradesh.
