Government will provide all basic infrastructure
- NDA Government’s goal is to create an entrepreneur in every household
- 175 MSME parks in 175 constituencies
- We will ensure ample work for construction workers
- Due to the negligence of previous governments, workers were left jobless
- For the first time, the Centre is conducting a caste census
Atmakuru, May 1, 2025: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu participated in a programme for the poor at Nellurupalem in Atmakur Constituency on May Day. He also interacted directly with construction workers.
He virtually inaugurated 10 new MSME parks, including one at Narampeta, and announced that work on Dagadarthi Airport would commence soon.
*Entrepreneur in Every Household*
CM Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that the goal of the NDA government is to make every household a hub of entrepreneurship by establishing 175 MSME parks—one in each constituency. He affirmed the government's commitment to creating 20 lakh jobs. He said the negligence of previous regimes forced construction workers into unemployment, and it is now the government's responsibility to support them.
The Chief Minister personally handed over a widow pension to Chalancharla Sushmitha of the ST colony in Nellurupalem village. He assured her free coaching for the DSC recruitment exam, and that her daughter Chaitrika would be admitted to a Gurukulam (residential school) for quality education.
*Setting Up MSME Parks*
Speaking in Narampeta, the CM launched a major initiative to create MSME parks. He said: “Anyone can directly come forward to set up a factory. The government will provide electricity, sheds, and all other infrastructure. Just as we once developed Hyderabad as a hub of prosperity, we are now building Amaravati.”
In the first phase, MSME parks will be developed in 40 constituencies, with an investment exceeding ₹2,000 crore. By FY 2027–28, 15,000 MSME units will be established, creating 2 lakh jobs.
*Farmers Can Be Industrialists Too*
“We are committed to providing jobs to 20 lakh people. Large-scale investments are coming into the state due to the trust in the government, generating employment for youth. MLAs should take responsibility for creating jobs in their constituencies. Even farmers can set up MSME parks. Necessary approvals will be provided,” the CM said.
Nano parks can be set up on 10 acres, MSME parks on 100 acres, and major parks on over 100 acres. Women too should enter industries and become financially empowered.
*Supporting Workers*
“About 85% of our workforce is in the unorganised sector, with 65% dependent on agriculture. The Centre introduced MGNREGA to provide 100 days of work. I have personally seen the hardships of construction workers—they toil under harsh conditions. The government must support them. Women form 56% of this workforce. The late N.T. Rama Rao included the wheel in the TDP flag to represent workers. TDP is the only party to have done this.”
*Negligence of Past Governments*
“Due to the negligence of past governments, construction workers lost jobs and ended up on the streets. Sand was illegally transported to other states, robbing the state of thousands of crores in revenue. Despite this, we are now supplying sand for free. When construction takes place, workers get jobs, wealth is created, and income flows in.”
The NDA government has made building approvals and layout permissions easier. We repealed the NALA Act. Permissions are now given for cellars in constructions exceeding 500 sq. m. Road width for layouts has been reduced from 12m to 9m. New hospitals are being built with 100 beds in Guntur and Sri City, and 30 beds in Kurnool for worker healthcare.
*Bringing Light to the Lives of the Poor through Pensions*
“Our government is spending ₹33,000 crore annually to provide pensions to 64 lakh people. One in every 2.5 families receives a pension. In some cases, pension income exceeds family earnings. The previous government provided pensions grudgingly. I increased the pension from ₹200 to ₹2,000, then to ₹3,000, and now ₹4,000, as promised. We provide ₹10,000 for dialysis patients, ₹15,000 for bedridden individuals—demonstrating compassion. Widow pension verification will be completed by June 1.”
*Amaravati – A Capital That Wins Global Praise*
“Amaravati will generate employment and livelihood for youth. 29,000 farmers gave 34,000 acres for the capital. They said, ‘We need a capital and will contribute to its development. Just give us back a portion of our land after development.’ TDP took the initiative to build a capital city without spending a rupee from public funds, turning ordinary people into millionaires. Central institutions and colleges came to Amaravati. I never allowed injustice to any farmer in any project I undertook. I don’t care for the criticism of those who can’t tolerate progress.” Ports, airports, and industries bring development and jobs to regions.
*Amaravati as an Innovation Hub*
“We will soon establish a Ratan Tata Innovation Hub in Amaravati. Earlier, I focused on IT, which created good jobs. Now I am promoting AI. The future belongs to AI. If we harness it, lives will improve.”
Regional innovation hubs will be set up:
- Visakhapatnam for North Andhra
- Rajahmundry for Godavari districts
- Vijayawada for Guntur and Krishna
- Tirupati for Prakasam, Nellore, and Chittoor
- Anantapur for Anantapur, Kadapa, and Kurnool
Telugu people around the world are in top positions. We must go beyond seeking jobs—we must become job creators.
*Responsibility for Nellore’s Development*
“Yanadis have suffered in poverty for generations in Nellore. We will support them and ensure they receive welfare schemes. A ₹95,000 crore BPCL refinery is coming up in Ramayapatnam. Dagadarthi Airport near Kavali will be inaugurated soon. Sri City is already here. LG is investing ₹5,000 crore, providing 10,000 jobs. Rayalaseema will become a green energy hub. It was NTR who first ensured Srisailam water for Rayalaseema and initiated Somashila and Kandaleru projects. We will establish an engineering college in Atmakur.”
*‘Super Six’ to Transform Lives of the Poor*
“We will ensure all eligible citizens receive welfare schemes. My goal is to provide housing, drinking water taps, toilets, electricity, and gas connections under the ‘Super Six’ welfare plan.”
- Over 200 ‘Anna Canteens’ are already functional
- Under Deepam 2, three free gas cylinders are given
- Fishermen are given ₹20,000
- 16,347 teacher posts will be filled
- Farmers receive ₹20,000 per year in three installments under Annadata Sukhibhava
- Under Talli ki Vandanam, each child in a household will receive ₹15,000 by June
- We are currently delivering 270 services through WhatsApp Governance and will increase this to 1,000
*A Ray of Hope for Gnanamma’s Family*
Gnanamma shared, “I have four children. My husband works as a daily labourer. On days he doesn’t work, we beg for food. We don’t have a house. When I ask for a loan, people question how I will repay it. I want to educate my children. My husband and I are illiterate. Please help us build a house.”
*CM’s Response:*
“Gnanamma, consider your four children as your greatest assets. Educating them will secure your future. The government will allocate land and build a house for your family with essential facilities—water, electricity, gas, and toilet. We will deposit ₹4 lakh in a bank in the name of your four children.”
*Words of Encouragement from Nageswara Rao of Margadarsi*
“When my father passed away during my childhood, my mother sold vegetables to educate me. I understand the struggles of the poor. Through Vision 2020, many lives changed. In Marripadu, through the Saho Foundation, we adopted and educated 190 orphaned children. I will take full responsibility for educating Gnanamma’s four children.
