    Vijayawada, October 15 2023: In a significant stride towards bolstering energy efficiency across India, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) a JV of National Power Utilities, MOP. GOI and the Dekhi based Premier Organisation,Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This landmark pact charts a course for cooperation between the two organizations, delineating vital strategies to enhance energy efficiency in various Pro. Active States like AP, Kerala, Karnataka, UP, MP, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Union Territories like AN & Ladakh etc.. in the Country Key Collaborative Initiatives of  the MoU delineates a roadmap for comprehensive collaboration, emphasizing essential areas such as information exchange, joint research, and capacity building endeavors. This collaboration entails a robust encouragement of cooperation between professionals and technical experts. Their collective mission: to implement, evaluate, and propose transformative measures in the realm of energy efficiency. The agreement also allows for mutual publication and usage of collaborative findings, a testament to their commitment to shared progress.

    Focused Engagement: Space Cooling Segment

    Immediate action has  begun in the sphere of space cooling, where the focus lies on expediting the manufacturing and adoption of energy-efficient fans. This targeted approach underscores their dedication to tangible and immediate impact, addressing a pressing need in the country.

    This MoU stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment of EESL and AEEE towards fostering cooperation and joint efforts aimed at promoting energy efficiency not only in India but also in other developing nations. Through this collaboration, these organizations are set to create a ripple effect, transforming the energy landscape one efficient step at a time.

    the Chairman,AEEE Dr. Sateesh informed that based on the report of AEEE   ranking ie. Energy Efficiency Index for around 10 States

    The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)  GOI have announced top ranking front runner States including AP Of State Energy Efficiency Index( SEEI)  2021..22 which has motivated several other Non. Ranking States

    This prestigious accolade, announced by the Union Minister of Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri RK Singh positions Andhra Pradesh alongside four other states – Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Telangana – in the Front Runner category for their outstanding energy efficiency implementation.

    EESL’s Pledge: Catalyzing Progress in Andhra Pradesh

    EESL officials have underscored their unwavering support for Andhra Pradesh in its journey towards heightened energy efficiency. Recognizing the pivotal role energy efficiency plays in economic development, environmental conservation, and enhancing the quality of life, EESL has pledged its backing to Key States like Andhra Pradesh.

     Particularly, EESL is geared to assist in the development of Visakhapatnam, a city recently designated as a growth hub by Niti Aayog, alongside Mumbai, Surat, and Varanasi. Niti Aayog’s decision is grounded in the acknowledgment of Visakhapatnam’s rapid growth, marking it as one of the country’s fastest-developing urban centers.
