Economic terrorists hiding under political masks are even more dangerous :CM Naidu

Kadapa: Telugu Desam president and chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced the launch of an ‘Operation Clean Politics’ in AP by taking inspiration from Operation Sindoor that eliminated Pakistani terrorists. The aim, Naidu said at the Mahanadu rally in Kadapa on Thursday, is a new era of positive, progressive politics. Addressing the mammoth rally, he asserted that “just as terrorists are dangerous to the nation, economic terrorists hiding under political masks are even more dangerous to society and they must be eliminated.”

Naidu compared Operation Sindoor to this mission -- “cleansing politics of those who looted Andhra Pradesh under the guise of governance through scams in land, sand, wine, and mines.” Naidu said, “Some industrialists were hesitant, saying ‘there’s a ghost in the state’. I assured them that we are exorcising that ghost. With over 20 new policies in place, the results are visible. We have signed MoUs worth Rs.4.95 lakh crore. Andhra Pradesh now ranks first in domestic investment and second in growth rate.

He said, “The TD is a case study in how a party and its governance should function, while the YSRC is a case study in how they should not.” “YSRC will be wiped out without a trace. This public governance is the outcome of years of hard-fought struggle by TD workers. I remind you that on May 2, 2024, I visited Kadapa for the Praja Galam election rally and stated that a political change was coming to Kadapa. That prophecy came true,” he said

Naidu claimed, “The previous government had pushed the state back by 30 years, burdening us with Rs.10 lakh crore in debts and Rs.1.2 lakh crore in unpaid bills. The annual interest alone was Rs.40,000 crore. Salaries were unpaid on the 1st of the month. We didn’t panic, we faced the challenge with experience and determination. Brick by brick, we are rebuilding the devastated state. In just one year, we've shown what good governance looks like.”

TD, he said, was the first to start SC categorisation in the united AP. Despite challenges, we have implemented it, a landmark moment in social re-engineering. Naidu said, “We immediately focused on roads, spending hundreds of crores. We opened 203 Anna Canteens. Do we need a leader who closes canteens and let the poor starve? We’re launching daily annadanam in 21 temples. The previous government diverted central funds and got us blacklisted, crippling 94 centrally sponsored schemes. We revived 73 of them.” On Amaravati, he affirmed, “We are transforming Amaravati into a Quantum Valley and attracting major companies like Google and TCS to Visakhapatnam. Reliance, ArcelorMittal, BPCL, NTPC, and LG are investing in the state. We will turn the state into a global hub of the knowledge economy and provide both employment and work-from-home opportunities for youth.” As for the Rayalaseema Declaration, the party chief said, “Rayalaseema is not a land of stones, it will become a jewel of the state. We identified factionism as the main obstacle to Rayalaseema's development and acted firmly to eliminate it. We have a special blueprint for Rayalaseema’s growth.” “Every district has a clear plan covering education, irrigation, horticulture, industries, green energy, tourism, highways, industrial corridors, and nodes,” the chief minister asserted.
