Workshop to be organized on Good Governance in December:CM CHANDRABABU
AMARAVATI:Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to make available Andhra Pradesh Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Research Centre (AWARE) app consisting of information of 42 different wings to people. He said information of all departments should be made available in data lake and band width connectivity should be improved in remote areas also.
The Chief Minister conducted a review on Real Time Governance and civic services at Secretariat today. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that civic services should be improved and officials should bring awareness among people on the civic services being provided by state government. He said development works should be taken up both in urban and rural areas as per the wish of people. MLAs should tour in their respective constituencies and launch development works as per the demand of people. He said a workshop will be conducted in December with MPs and MLAs on good governance.
The Chief Minister advised the officials not to launch development works without prior approval of Gram Sabhas. He said priority should be given to win the confidence of people by rendering civic services in a transparent manner. He said that capacity building programmes should be taken up in 175 constituencies. He said a study should be conducted at micro level to fulfill the aspirations of people. Priority should be given for data based decision making win the confidence of people by implementing development works. He warned of serious action on those who adopt negligent attitude in providing civic services
