K Janakirami Reddy, member of state legal team having rich experience in Judiciary and known for integrity and professional ethics who served as Government Pleader in Panchayat raj, Home and co-operative department for a long period of one decade from 2004 to 2014, has contested for the post of president for Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocate Association (APHCAA) and won for the consecutive time. He has an overall experience of 34 years at the Bar.
On the occasion of winning the election as the president of APHCAA today, he said his agenda is only to ensure that the bar is strong with adequate representation, mutual consultation and progression. “I strongly assure that I will stand by you (community of advocates) all and ensure the genuine demands of the Bar are met” he said
K Janakirami Reddy further said that he will continue to make the Bar proud and uphold the dignity and decency of their profession. A strong Bar is a real force and the need of the hour at this crucial juncture. He thanked all advocates of AP High court for the support and for voting and electing him as the president of APHCAA.
K Janakirami Reddy belongs to Kurnool district of Rayalaseema and is now working in the legal team of State of Andhra Pradesh in all the river water disputes pending in the Supreme Court and water tribunals. He has practiced under senior and prominent advocate of combined state of AP High court, Hyderabad, Late G Veera Reddy for over two decades.
Out of total votes polled, K Janaki Ramireddy has secured 703 votes against Venugopal Rao who secured 683 votes. Janakirami Reddy won the election as President of APHCAA with 20 votes majority when compared to Venugopal Rao.
He thanked all the members of Andhra Pradesh High Court Advocate Association for electing him for the consecutive time to serve as president for APHCAA and placing their trust and confidence in his ability to lead the organization ahead. “I am committed to serve in your best interests at all times and focus on the issues that matter most to our organization”, Janakirami Reddy said
Few of the Senior Advocates expressed that K Janakirami Reddy has continuously represented and persuaded the Hon’ble High court that resulted in notification for recruitment of 312 permanent staff to the high court, to strengthen the registry, which will resolve the case filing and posting issues plaguing the advocate fraternity, once and for all.
He has taken every measure to immediately represent to the Hon’ble High court about any problem being faced by the advocate fraternity. He has also encouraged and ensured a positive atmosphere, a feeling of oneness and unity among the advocate fraternity, said few senior advocates.
