Manamitra Brings Governance to Your Mobile  Users have crossed 50 Lakh

    admin
    STAFF REPORTER
    • February 4,2026

WhatsApp Governance has delivered over 2.50 Crore Transactions

    •    User base is growing significantly

    •    Tasks can be completed instantly from wherever you are

    •    From bill payments to downloading Pattadar Passbooks

    •    All services available right on the mobile phone

    •    Even people from Andhra Pradesh living outside the state are using it.

    •    Manamitra number 9552300009 has become a household address

People should not have to go around government offices

“We are living in a digital age. Technology has advanced tremendously, and through it we are bringing governance closer to the people. No citizen should have to go around government offices to receive services. That is the government’s objective. For this purpose, we introduced Manamitra WhatsApp Governance. People should make full use of it and save their valuable time.”

    — Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister

    M. Kishore from Eluru, who works as a Chartered Accountant in Bengaluru, earlier had to take leave and travel to Eluru even to pay taxes related to his own property. One or two days would be spent just going around offices. Now, he no longer faces this problem. He pays his taxes and avails several services directly on his mobile phone.

A similar experience is shared by Sarala from Nadendla in Palnadu district, who works in Hyderabad. Earlier, she had to travel home from Hyderabad to pay taxes or access revenue services. Now, she no longer needs to do so. From Hyderabad itself, through Manamitra WhatsApp Governance on her mobile, she pays bills, submits applications, and avails all services. Recently, she even booked tickets for Sri Sailam Mallanna Swamy darshan.

Suresh from Mamidipalem, Anakapalli Mandal, works as a manager in a private company. He leaves for office in the morning and returns home only by 8 pm. Earlier, for certificates or tax payments, he had to take leave and go around secretariats. Now that need is gone. Through Manamitra WhatsApp Governance on his mobile, he comfortably applied for an OBC certificate.

These are just a few examples among the lakhs of citizens happily availing services with a simple “Hi” through Manamitra. Without visiting government offices at all, lakhs of people across Andhra Pradesh are now accessing services from wherever they are and appreciating the services provided by the State Government.

Just a simple “Hi” on WhatsApp is now enough to access government services in Andhra Pradesh.
The State Government’s Manamitra WhatsApp Governance platform has rapidly transformed the way citizens interact with government departments. With users crossing 50 lakh and over 2.5 crore services (Transactions/Sessions) delivered, Manamitra has emerged as a flagship digital governance initiative.

From bill payments to downloading Revenue Pattadar Passbooks, citizens can now complete essential tasks instantly—from anywhere in the world—using only their mobile phones. Even Andhra Pradesh residents living outside the state are actively using the service.

The Manamitra WhatsApp number 9552300009 has effectively become a household address, eliminating the need for people to make repeated visits to government office

    Growing public adoption

Manamitra WhatsApp Governance, launched prestigiously by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, is receiving increasing public support. People are gradually understanding its benefits and preferring to use WhatsApp-based services. The number of Manamitra users has already crossed 5 million.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu envisions taking the government to the people; ensuring citizens do not have to run around offices or officials. In line with this vision, IT and RTG Minister Nara Lokesh conceptualized the Manamitra WhatsApp Governance programme to bring governance closer to the public. The programme was officially launched in January last year, and within a year, the user base has been increasing rapidly, gaining widespread acceptance.

    Over 1,000 Services on WhatsApp

The State Government plans to offer nearly 1,000 services through Manamitra. Already, 900+ services are available, and the count is expected to cross 1,000 this month.

    Save 9552300009

To easily access services through Manamitra WhatsApp Governance, citizens must save 9552300009 on their Android mobile phones.

Just send a “Hi” message to this number on WhatsApp to see all available government services. Citizens can select the service they need and complete it instantly within minutes.

    Works in Telugu too

Manamitra WhatsApp Governance works in both English and Telugu, making it extremely easy for citizens to use. Services are simple and user-friendly.

    Voice-based services

Those who are not comfortable typing on WhatsApp can also access services by giving voice commands. Manamitra WhatsApp Governance operates on AI (Artificial Intelligence) to support this feature.

Birth and death certificates coming soon

The government is arranging to soon provide birth and death certificates through Manamitra WhatsApp Governance as well. These services will be made available to the public shortly

    Key services include:

    •    APSRTC bus ticket bookings

    •    Property tax and water tax payments

    •    Electricity bill payments

    •    Revenue, police, pension, and registration services

    •    Welfare schemes like Talliki Vandanam

    •    Certificates such as OBC, Income, EWS, Family Member, Marriage, Title-cum-Passbook, and more

    •    Downloading hall tickets and exam results

    •    Simplified Revenue Services

    •    Manamitra has made revenue services extremely simple:

    •    Download 1-B Adangal copies

    •    Access e-Pattadar Passbooks

    •    Check complete property details anytime

    •    Download Encumbrance Certificates (ECs)

What once required repeated visits to offices can now be done in minutes.

    •    Devotees can now book Arjitha Sevas and darshan tickets for:

    •    Tirumala

    •    Srisailam
