Kadapa:Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has vowed to resign his post if former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy proves the state government erred in land allotments to the URSA Company for a nominal rate of Rs 99 per acre. Speaking to the media at the Mahanadu, the minister demanded that Jagan Reddy prove the charge. Lokesh said the government gave land to TCS for 99 paise. “Whoever comes from the top 100 IT companies will be given the same
He alleged that industries were chased away during Jagan Reddy’s rule. “The investigation in the liquor case of the YSRC period is going on transparently.” Regarding his leadership in the Telugu Desam, Nara Lokesh said he wanted to ensure that the future of the party would be good for the next five decades. “That’s why we have focused on the organisational structure,” he said. He said, “Lokesh is a part of the party and he is not the party. I would hold whatever responsibility the party assigns me. Seniors and juniors should work together; only then will the party move forward
He said working groups would be formed from the mandal level to the national level. “These would meet once every three months to know the achievements and sorrows of the party workers. There should be a discussion in the party. Only then will the party be vibrant. Projects have come to all areas in the past 11 months. Renewable power projects have been brought to Rayalaseema.” He said justice cannot be done to all the party workers at once, but he gave posts to many people who worked for the party. Lokesh said it was his good fortune to sit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for two hours. “I asked the Prime Minister 20 questions. He answered these to me like a father.” He said, “The same amount of time would be allocated to the party as we allocate to the government. This time, we will balance the interests of the government and the party.”
