Prime Minister Narendra Modi all praise for Andhra Pradesh's growth blueprint under CM Naidu, asks all states to study AP's reforms

New Delhi, May 24, 2025 – The Government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, participated in the 10th NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting held at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The meeting convened Chief Ministers, Lieutenant Governors, Union Ministers, and senior officials from across India to discuss national policy and cooperative federalism.

PM Modi all praise for AP's Growth Blueprint

The Chief Minister's interaction was a huge success at the event, as the Prime Minister himself lauded "Andhra Pradesh's growth blueprint." While showering praises on the reforms brought by the AP government steered by CM Naidu, the Prime Minister mentioned, "that all states should examine and study the reforms of Andhra Pradesh. There could be lot of inputs in the blueprint for growth projected by CM Naidu for other states also."

Besides, while addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister solemnly paid tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, 2025, honoring the 26 innocent lives lost, and lauded the Armed Forces’ decisive Operation Sindoor.

He also commended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s strong leadership during the crisis, emphasizing India’s resilience and self-reliance.

The meeting’s core focus was on the theme “Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat @2047,” aiming to build a prosperous, inclusive, and future-ready India by its centenary. The Council deliberated on accelerating entrepreneurship, employment, and skill development, transforming Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities into growth hubs, and reviewed key outcomes and decisions to reinforce cooperative federalism and collective progress toward national development.

Andhra Pradesh is leading the way in realizing Viksit Bharat

The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh praised India’s remarkable rise over the past decade under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, highlighting the nation’s progress from the world’s 10th to 4th largest economy, on track to become the 3rd largest. He acknowledged transformative reforms like Digital India, GST, Startup India, PM Gati Shakti, and Jal Jeevan Mission, which have redefined India’s development landscape.

Emphasizing India’s strengthened global stature, exemplified by Operation Sindoor, the Chief Minister noted that having the right leader at the right time has been crucial in steering the nation toward its ambitious goals in the right direction.

Building on this leadership, Andhra Pradesh’s Swarna Andhra @2047 vision stands as a bold, inclusive roadmap integrating technology, welfare, and grassroots empowerment.

The state is committed to contributing significantly to the national aspiration of Viksit Bharat @2047—a $30 trillion economy marked by high-quality infrastructure, equitable development, and empowered citizens.

Family as the Focal Point of Governance, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth

Under its Swarna Andhra @2047 vision, Andhra Pradesh aims to achieve Zero Poverty by 2029 through the innovative P4 model, which unites government, private sector, and citizen efforts to support vulnerable families and promote economic upliftment.

Complementing this, the Family Benefit Management System digitally tracks welfare benefits at the household level, ensuring transparency and inclusion. The “One Family, One Entrepreneur” initiative fosters entrepreneurship and skill development to boost grassroots employment.

Driving technology-led growth, the state has established hubs like Quantum Valley in Amaravati, Drone City in Orvakal, and biomedical manufacturing in Vishakhapatnam, while AI-powered governance and the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub support startups and job creation.

Aligned with the Prime Minister’s Mission Circular Economy, Andhra Pradesh advances sustainable waste management and balanced regional growth through model economic zones. Leading in Mission Karmayogi, the state demonstrates its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and future-ready governance.

HCM proposes formation of three sub-groups to fast track progress

In conclusion, the Hon’ble Chief Minister proposed forming three focused sub-groups of States, in collaboration with the Union Government and NITI Aayog, to fast-track progress toward Viksit Bharat @2047.

The first sub-group on GDP growth aims to boost investments, manufacturing, exports, and job creation, supported by central Viability Gap Funding for PPP projects.

The second sub-group on population management will help India leverage its demographic advantage while preparing for future challenges like ageing and low fertility.

The third sub-group will focus on technology-driven governance, utilizing AI, quantum computing, drones, and digital platforms for real-time, citizen-centric administration.

Rooted in family-centric governance, innovation, digital infrastructure, and sustainability, the Swarna Andhra @2047 vision offers a scalable, inclusive model for national development.

As India approaches its centenary of independence, the Chief Minister reaffirmed Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to lead by example, showcasing how states can drive national transformation through strong, coordinated leadership at both state and union levels.
