With most of the ministers from Andhra Pradesh assuming their office, all eyes will be on deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The actor-politician will assume duties on June 19. Pawan’s portfolio also includes Panchayati Raj and Rural Development and Rural Water Supply with additional charge of Environment and Forests, and Science and Technology. He was one of the 24 ministers in the Chandrababu Naidu government who were allocated portfolios last week
Pawan won from Pithapuram Assembly constituency in the recent elections. He was given the deputy Chief minister apart from overseeing other portfolios. And sources in the know say that fans of the actor-politician are planning to hold a rally enroute secretariat. Fans wanted to see their favourite actor taking charge in their presence. Fans from various parts of Andhra Pradesh and neighboring states have already been informed about the rally. However, they haven’t got the official nod yet and they are waiting for a few confirmations and clearances
A source in the know says, “It’ll be a bike rally by the fans taking place voluntarily. We wanted to follow Pawan Kalyan’s convoy and see him through till the secretariat. That’s the plan as of now but there may be changes to the program. We have not had any word with officials regarding the rally,” says a fan. Meanwhile, Pawan stated that he toured the Telugu states extensively before 2019, and that he got a great opportunity to serve the people
