Historic Day as ₹2,08,548 Crore Worth of Projects Launched in Andhra Pradesh

Vishakapatnam January 8: In a historic moment for Andhra Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, laid the foundation stones and inaugurated development projects worth ₹2,08,548 crore in a single day. Speaking at a massive public meeting at Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu hailed the Prime Minister as a global leader admired worldwide and emphasized that this day would be etched in the history of the state.

"This is a day of unparalleled significance in my life," said Chandrababu Naidu. "Projects worth over ₹2 lakh crore have been inaugurated today, including major initiatives in green hydrogen, industrial parks, road and rail infrastructure, and more. The NTPC Green Hydrogen Project at Pudimadaka alone has attracted an investment of ₹1.85 lakh crore. We also laid the foundation for Visakhapatnam’s much-awaited Railway Zone, fulfilling a long-standing dream of the people."

The Chief Minister further highlighted the state’s commitment to development under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi. He listed several key projects initiated during the day, including:

    * A Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli with an investment of ₹1,877 crore.

    * Road construction and expansion projects worth ₹4,593 crore.

    * A ₹2,139 crore Industrial Park at Krishnapatnam.

    * Six railway projects worth ₹6,028 crore.

    * Construction of 234.28 km of roads for ₹3,044 crore.

    * Development of three new railway lines covering 323 km with ₹5,718 crore.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his unwavering support, calling him a leader who has brought the impossible within reach.

NDA Alliance: A Partnership for the Future

In his address, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his commitment to the NDA alliance and predicted a continued partnership for years to come. "The NDA combination of Prime Minister Modi, Pawan Kalyan, and myself has already brought unparalleled success in Andhra Pradesh, securing a 93% strike rate in the recent elections. This alliance will continue in the future, ensuring sustained growth and prosperity for the state."

He further lauded Modi’s charisma and leadership, noting that his vision has led to victories for the NDA in Haryana and Maharashtra, with similar success anticipated in Delhi.

    Welfare, Development, and Visionary Reforms

Highlighting the Prime Minister's achievements, Chandrababu Naidu said, "Modi's core ideals—welfare, development, reforms, and good governance—have transformed the nation. Initiatives like PM Kisan, free ration during COVID-19, Make in India, Startup India, and Digital India have propelled the country forward. Under his leadership, India has risen from the 11th to the 5th largest economy and is on track to become one of the top two economies by 2047."

Chandrababu Naidu also commended Modi for his contributions to Andhra Pradesh, including the allocation of 12 prestigious institutions such as IITs, IIMs, and AIIMS under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.

    Visakhapatnam: Andhra’s Economic Capital

Calling Visakhapatnam the "economic capital" of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu detailed the city's growth in sectors such as IT, pharma, and tourism. He credited Modi’s promotion of Araku Coffee on global platforms, which has elevated its status as a premium brand.

Chandrababu Naidu also pointed to growing investments in the region, including Google’s decision to set up AI facilities in Visakhapatnam, calling it a testament to the state’s favorable business environment under the NDA government.

We Take Modi as Our Inspiration

Concluding his speech, Chandrababu Naidu called Modi a source of inspiration and requested the Prime Minister to revisit Amaravati to inaugurate the capital upon its completion. He also sought central assistance for river-linking projects and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to completing the Polavaram Project under Modi’s leadership.

From Now On, Only Success Awaits Us

"With Modi at the helm, the NDA alliance is stronger than ever, ensuring double-digit growth and poverty eradication through its visionary policies. This is just the beginning. The future holds nothing but success for Andhra Pradesh," Chandrababu Naidu declared confidently.
