Y.V. Subba Reddy urged party workers and volunteers to intensify their efforts in promoting the welfare schemes

Visakhapatnam: SRC regional coordinator for Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli and ASR districts Y.V. Subba Reddy urged party workers and volunteers to intensify their efforts in promoting the welfare schemes initiated by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government over the past four and a half years.

Addressing the general body meeting of the Visakhapatnam East constituency in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, Subba Reddy highlighted that 30,000 families in the Visakhapatnam East segment alone were provided with houses. He emphasized that all eligible individuals throughout the State have availed themselves of the benefits introduced in the past four years. These schemes were executed with utmost transparency, regardless of caste, creed, or political affiliations.

"Up until now, welfare schemes have been extended to 1.5 crore people in the State over the last four and a half years," Subba Reddy stated, expressing concern over misinformation spread by opposition-backed media outlets regarding these initiatives.

The senior YSRC leader underscored that those involved in corrupt practices would face the appropriate consequences. He pointed out that the TD national president faced legal proceedings related to Skill Development and Amaravati land scams during his tenure as chief minister from 2014 to 2019, emphasizing that the YSRC had no connection to this case

Subba Reddy announced that old-age pensions would see an increase from 2,750 to 3,000 in January, a promise made by Jagan Mohan Reddy during his pada yatra. He urged party workers to rally behind Vizag MP M.V.V.Satyanarayana, who would be vying for MLA from the Visakhapatnam East constituency.

During the event, M.V.V. Satyanarayana urged party leaders and workers to elucidate "Why AP needs Jagan," a campaign launched on October 11. He emphasized the pivotal role of ward volunteers and Griha Saradhis in the 2024 elections, rallying the attendees to strive for the success of Jagan Mohan Reddy and to aim for victory in all 175 seats in the forthcoming
    elections.

The gathering was attended by Vizag mayor G. Hari Venkata Kumari, the party's district president Kola Guruvulu, MLCs Varudu Kalyani and Ravindra Babu, and a significant number of city leaders.
