KTR visit Paris attract €11 billion in Investment, 70,000 jobs in Telangana .

Hyderabad: A Telangana government delegation headed by IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao held a series of meetings with industry heads in Paris on Thursday and gave an overview of the various initiatives of the State government to attract investments.

The delegation met MBDA’s top management team comprising Directors Boris Solomiac, Pol Neil Le Livec, and Senior Vice President Asia and India Jean-Marc Peyraud. MBDA is the world leader in missiles and missile systems with its headquarters in Paris. The Minister invited MBDA to explore prospective collaboration opportunities for manufacturing in Telangana.

Later, he met with Aerocampus Aquitaine sales director Xavier Audion. Air Attaché at the Indian Embassy in France, Air Commodore Hilal Ahmad was also a part of the meeting.

Rama Rao also met with the Ambassador of India to the Republic of France Jawed Ashraf to apprise about the priority sectors into which Telangana was soliciting investments from French companies.

He later met Cosmetic Valley’s Deputy CEO-in-charge International Strategy Franckie Béchereau. Cosmetic Valley is a cluster of about 800 companies, seven universities, 136 colleges, 200 research laboratories for 8,600 researchers, and 100 research projects, and creating approximately 70,000 jobs and €11 billion in revenue.

Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Aerospace and Defence Director Praveen and Digital Media Director Dileep Konatham were present in the meetings.
