HYDERABAD: Musharraf Faruqui, chairman and managing director of Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TSSPDCL), has set consumer satisfaction as his top priority and asked the personnel to work towards this aim.
Addressing the zone and circle heads of the discom in a video conference, he said, "All officers should make field inspections and rectify the problems with immediate effect on a suo motu basis. All the field officers and staff must be available in their jurisdiction and be accessible to consumers."
He asked officers and field staff to be receptive towards the grievances of the consumers and should treat them with due regard. He has said that the quality of the network should be equally good and safe in all areas, even in poor neighbourhoods and slums.
