Cristiano Ronaldo will not be able to make his long-awaited Saudi Arabia debut tomorrow night, according to Sportmail. His new club, Al-Nassr, which supposedly pays him £175 million per year, had sold all 28,000 seats for the match against Al Ta'ee, and he was due to kick-off his Arabian endeavour amid much excitement. However, soccer star, who left Manchester United in disgrace, is currently being punished for a misdemeanour and has been told he is forbidden from playing for Al Nassr, according to a source.

On November 17th, the England Football Association fined Ronaldo £50,000 and banned him for two games. He was found guilty of unlawful and aggressive behaviour after slamming an Everton fan's phone out of his hand after United lost at Goodison Park last April.

As he stormed down the tunnel, he smacked Jacob Harding's hand, destroying the boy's phone. Ronaldo also damaged his son's hand, according to his mother, Sarah Kelly. While the inquiry was still proceeding last month, it was rumoured that Ronaldo would accept an FA allegation of inappropriate behaviour but would oppose the possibility of a ban. The Independent FA Panel, presided over by Christopher Quinlan KC, ruled Ronaldo guilty of "a premeditated and powerful slap down" that was a 'petulant act."
