Andhra Pradesh finished overall runner-up to clinch silver in weightlifting of the Khelo India Youth Games in Rajgir (Bihar) with an impressive haul of nine medals, including one gold, six silver and two bronze.

The list of medallists: Men: Silver – A. Prudhvi (55 kg), M. Tarun (81kg), Ch. Venkatesh (89 kg)
Women: Gold – G Varshitha (64 kg).
Silver – Ch. Juhita Guna (71 kg), KNR Lakshmi (81 kg & above), K.=Tarangani (59 kg).
Bronze – K. Hemasri (55 kg), A. Revathi (81 kg)
