Final Result:

India (167/6) Beat Zimbabwe (125) By 42 Runs To Win Series 4-1 In Harare. Mukesh Kumar (4/22), Shivam Dube (2/25)

India produced a clinical performance with the white ball to bowl out ZImbabwe for 125 after posting 167 on the board in Harare. Mukesh Kumar registered career-best figures of 4 for 22 while Shivam Dube grabbed a couple. Dion Myers (34) and Faraz Akram (27) were the only two host batters who got a start but couldn't convert them into big scores.

Mid-Innings Update:

In the fifth and final T20I against Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday, vice-captain Sanju Samson led the charge for India with his second T20I half-century. Samson's elegant 58 off 45 balls featured one four and four sixes, anchoring India's innings to a respectable 167/6

Samson's innings was crucial as he helped stabilize the team after the early dismissals of the top three batsmen during the power play. He built a vital 65-run partnership with Riyan Parag for the fourth wicket, off 56 deliveries, steering India out of a precarious situation.

Adding firepower at the end, Shivam Dube played a brisk innings, smashing 26 runs off just 12 balls. His late cameo, complemented by Rinku Singh’s hefty blows, ensured India added 30 runs in the final two overs, pushing the total past 160.

On the bowling front, Blessing Muzarabani stood out for Zimbabwe, delivering an impressive spell with figures of 2/19 in his four overs. Despite some sharp catches, Zimbabwe's fielding was marred by three dropped chances and a few misfields, ultimately allowing India to post a challenging total.

ZIM vs IND, Toss

Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has won the toss and has elected to field first in the 5th and final T20I against India in Harare. Both teams have yet again made changes, with the visiting side affecting two of them to walk away with a 4-1 victory after becoming T20 World champions recently.

After an insipid batting show in the opening T20I when they failed to chase down 116, India have put up improved batting performances in the following two to lead the series by 2-1. The Men in Blue's series win came on the back of a ten-wicket victory as openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill blasted 153 with ease, with the former smacking an unbeaten 93.

The final T20I has India playing Mukesh Kumar and Riyan Parag for Ruturaj Gaikwad and Khaleel Ahmed.

Zimbabwe, meanwhile, have made a solitary change, replacing Tendai Chatara with Brendan Mavuta. The hosts have performed well in patches, but haven't played a complete game, due to which they are lagging 3-1 in the series.
