K. Vijayanand Assumes Charge as CM’s Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary

Amaravati, March 2: K. Vijayanand assumed charge as the Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister on Monday at the State Secretariat.

Having retired as Chief Secretary on February 28, Vijayanand was appointed by the State Government as the Chief Minister’s Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary. He formally took charge at the First Block of the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat.

The assumption of office was preceded by special prayers conducted in the presence of Vedic scholars from Vijayawada Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam and Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

Senior officials, I&Pr Director Viswanathan, Syamala Rao I.A.S, AP Secretariat Association President Ramakrishna and representatives from various Secretariat departments congratulated Vijayanand and extended their best wishes on the occasion.
