Permanent Development Works on Indrakeeladri
Review Meeting Led by MLA Sujana Chowdary
Vijayawada MLA Sujana Chowdary has focused special attention on the development of Indrakeeladri, aiming to provide permanent and improved facilities for devotees. In consultation with temple authorities, he has initiated the design of a new master plan to enhance the infrastructure of the Kanaka Durga temple.
A review meeting was held at the camp office in Thadikada under the leadership of MLA Sujana Chowdary. The meeting was attended by temple officials, engineering experts, representatives from the School of Planning and Architecture, and the technical team. Through a PowerPoint presentation, they examined the ongoing and upcoming development projects of the Kanaka Durga temple, discussing feasibility and implementation strategies.
During the meeting, MLA Sujana Chowdary gave several key directives. He emphasized the need to develop infrastructure that meets the needs of the next century. Discussions included the construction of a permanent queue system, improvements to the ghat road leading to the temple, expansion of parking spaces, and enhancement of drinking water facilities through the installation of water plants. He urged officials to ensure the completion of basic infrastructure improvements by the upcoming Vijayadashami festival.
Additionally, the MLA instructed authorities to expedite plans for the construction of rest halls and cottages for devotees. He stressed the importance of a well-coordinated master plan, integrating efforts from all relevant departments.
The review meeting was attended by Endowments Department Commissioner, Kanaka Durga Temple EO Ramachandra Mohan, Koteshwara Rao, and other key officials.
