AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who assumed charge as youngest Chief Minister of Combined Andhra Pradesh at the age of 45 years during 1995 completed thirty years today by serving four times as Chief Minister during the three decades.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is well known for his vision, planning and and grounding of innovative schemes for the wellbeing of all sections of people believes that linking of rivers will pave way for the prosperity of all the regions in the country. Stating that Polavaram project is life line of Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is committed to complete the project at any cost by the end of 2027. Knowing fully well the importance of linking of rivers to supply water to all the regions of the state, the Chief Minister commissioned Pattiseema lift irrigation scheme in January 2018 and linked both the Godavari and Krishna rivers through Polavaram right canal.
As part of his continuous efforts to protect the interests of farmers, the Chief Minister encouraging farmers to adopt natural farming for quality perfection to meet global standards for food products. As a result of the Chief Minister's efforts, Andhra Pradesh attracted investments to a tune of Rs 9000 cr in food processing sector alone last year.
The IT savy Chief Minister, who is instrumental in development of Hyderabad as IT capital of India and turned as an inspiration for lakhs of Techies across the globe, now focussing on development of Amaravati capital and initiated measures to develop Amaravati as Quantum computing valley.
Going a step further in utilising advanced technology Chandrababu Naidu government has been providing 700 public services through whatsapp in the name of Mana Mitra whatsapp governance platform.
As a great reformer from the very beginning, Chandrababu Naidu launched DWCRA groups, the first of its kind self-help women groups for economic uplift of women. The same system being followed throughout the country. He is instrumental in bringing administration to the door step of people by introducing Prajala Vaddaku Palana and involving people in serving their native villages through Janmabhoomi programme.
Chandrababu Naidu who developed Vision 2020 policy during the earlier years of his tenure now advocating Swarnandhra 2047 to transform the state into a $2.4 trillion economy and to make Andhra Pradesh a poverty-free state on the lines of Viksit Bharat 2047. Chandrababu Naidu who promoted one techie for each family earlier, now promoting one entrepreneur for each family for economic development of all sections of people.
Giving top priority for the welfare of BC,SC, ST and Minorities, the Chief Minister launched several schemes towards education and enrichment of these sections. By providing reservations in local bodies, he ensured presentation for women and BCs in administration at grass root level.
The visionary leader's bold reforms in power sector brought stability in power sector. Chandrababu Naidu is now focussing on green energy and as part of it promoting solar and wind energy sectors. As a result of his efforts the power generation capacity increased from 5634 mw to 10,695 mw registering 90 per cent growth in power sector making Andhra Pradesh a power surplus state.
Chandrababu Naidu who believes in bringing world class infrastructure and instrumental in development of Hyderabad airport, now focussing more on development of airports and ports in Andhra Pradesh- gifted with 1000 km long sea coast a logistics hub.
Chandrababu as a reformer in education sector giving top priority for education as well as skill development to students to develop AP as Knowledge econmy state.
By establishing himself (CBN) as a brand for IT, development and people-friendly reforms, after Chandrababu Naidu assumed power in the state, Andhra Pradesh attracted investments to a tune of Rs 9.34 lakh crore during last one year as investors coming forward in a big way to invest in AP with the prevailing industry-friendly atmosphere in the state.
