Minister Lokesh and Brahmani Perform Puja at Kashi Vishwanath Temple

Offer Pattu Sarees to Goddess Vishalakshi

Varanasi (UP): Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, along with his wife Brahmani, visited the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple on the banks of the holy Ganges. The couple performed special pujas at the revered Jyotirlinga shrine, seeking divine blessings. The temple priests explained the spiritual significance of Kashi Vishwanath and bestowed their blessings upon them. As a token of honor, the priests presented them with sacred cloth and temple prasad.

Before their visit to Kashi Vishwanath, Lokesh and Brahmani also paid their respects at the ancient Kalabhairava Temple, known as the guardian deity of Varanasi. They performed traditional rituals and sought the deity’s grace.

Following their prayers at Vishwanath Temple, the couple proceeded to the Kashi Vishalakshi Temple, one of the Ashtadasha Shakti Peethas (Eighteen Sacred Power Centers). According to legend, Goddess Vishalakshi is the fourth incarnation of Adi Parashakti and holds great spiritual significance for devotees. As part of their offerings, Lokesh and Brahmani presented Pattu sarees to the goddess.
