AP Panchayat Secretaries Thank Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for Reforms in Rural Administration

Mangalagiri, October 16: The Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Secretaries Association expressed gratitude to Deputy Chief Minister and Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Pawan Kalyan for initiating reforms in the Panchayat administration system. The Association lauded the government’s decision to reorganize and classify Panchayats into four grades, describing it as a progressive step that will enhance service delivery in rural areas.

Association representatives met Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan at his camp office in Mangalagiri this evening and thanked him for introducing the administrative restructuring. They said the move will enable efficient functioning and better public services. The Association also appreciated the government’s decision to grant promotions to 10,000 employees, calling it a morale booster for staff across the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said, “We must ensure proper infrastructure in every village. The four-grade Panchayat system will definitely benefit rural communities. We will develop Rurban Panchayats with facilities on par with urban areas. Under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the government is committed to providing better services to the people. Reforms are being implemented to bring transparency in the functioning of local bodies, and field staff play a key role in this effort.”

The Association members said the reclassification will help strengthen local governance and improve responsiveness to citizens’ needs. They expressed happiness over the promotions given to employees, stating that the recognition has inspired them to work with renewed enthusiasm. The Deputy Chief Minister responded positively to several requests made by the Association and assured that the government would examine them and take appropriate action.
