Amaravati, March 3: Shri Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon, I.A.S., Managing Director representing the Andhra Pradesh State Co-operative Marketing Federation Ltd. (APMARKFED), Vijayawada and Shri Mr. Unupom Kausik , Managing Director representing National Co-operative Exports Limited (NCEL), New Delhi have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote the export of agricultural commodities from Andhra Pradesh.
The MoU was signed at AP Secretariat, Amaravati, in the presence of Shri Budithi Rajsekhar, I.A.S., the Ex-Officio Special Chief Secretary to Government (Agriculture, Co-operation, Marketing, Animal Husbandry & Fisheries) and Sri Karrothu Bangarraju, Chairman, AP MARKFED, Vijayawada. Under this partnership, APMARKFED will act as the nodal agency to coordinate the export of farm produce from cooperative societies and farmers in Andhra Pradesh. NCEL, a national-level export agency, will facilitate procurement, processing, and international marketing of key agri-products. This initiative will help enhance farmers’ income, create global market opportunities, and strengthen agricultural exports from the state.
