CM Chandrababu Naidu makes a PPT presentation showcasing AP's investment potential at the AP-Singapore summit.

AP-Singapore Startup Festival to be launched

Amaravati, July 28: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu stated Andhra Pradesh as the premier investment destination while assuring industrialists of complete investment security. In preparation for November's partnership summit in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister engaged with stake holders at an event hosted by the AP-Singapore Business Forum. The gathering saw participation from Singaporean corporate representatives alongside a strong AP delegation. During the summit, CM Naidu showcased Andhra's business-friendly policies, ongoing projects, investment prospects, and the visionary 2047 Swarna Andhra development blueprint through his presentation. He extended a personal invitation to Singaporean businesses for the Visakhapatnam investment summit scheduled for November 14-15.

Addressing attendees, CM Chandrababu reflected: "My 2014 Singapore visit for Amaravati's master plan marked the beginning of our collaboration - a plan provided at no cost. While recent years saw challenges in our Singapore relations, this visit prioritizes rebuilding those ties. Singapore's corruption-free governance inspires me. Our united Andhra legacy includes the Singapore Township near Hyderabad. Now, I urge Singaporean investors to explore AP's potential. The November 14-15 Visakhapatnam summit presents the perfect platform to formalize investment commitments through MoUs. With India's longest coastline and rapid development trajectory, AP has transitioned from PPP to our current P4 model - focused on bridging economic divides. Corporate social responsibility must include uplifting the disadvantaged. Through this forum, I appeal: invest in our state while supporting poverty elemination."

Limitless Potential in Andhra Pradesh

"Singapore's development model guides our vision for AP. Our 2047 Swarna Andhra mission prioritizes comprehensive socio-economic advancement. Singapore's employment generation framework remains unparalleled. We're transitioning to green energy solutions while maintaining our investor-friendly, secure ecosystem. Developing logistic corridors connecting Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati remains a priority, alongside creating skilled workforce pipelines. The Amaravati Quantum Valley initiative will drive research and future technologies. As part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission, we aim to contribute one-third of India's green energy output. Our specialized industrial policies promote sustainable growth through cost-effective transportation and circular economy models. Sector-specific policies span e-mobility, waste management, industrial parks, aerospace, defense, food processing, MSMEs, maritime activities, mineral resources, sports, and textiles - with tourism now recognized as an official industry. We've optimized frameworks for electronics, component manufacturing, data centers, innovation, and startups. With six operational ports and four more underway, AP currently handles 30% of India's maritime cargo - a figure that hints at our immense potential. Investor-friendly policies now extend to aircraft MRO operations, complemented by our inland waterways and rail cargo networks - all designed to minimize logistics costs while maximizing trade opportunities," CM Naidu elaborated.

Industrial Growth Infrastructure

"AP's three industrial corridors - Visakhapatnam-Chennai, Bangalore-Hyderabad, and Bangalore-Chennai - will dramatically expand opportunities in petrochemicals, food processing, and renewable energy. Established electronics clusters in Kopparthy and Sri City demonstrate our capabilities. Visakhapatnam's government steel plant will soon be joined by Arcelor Mittal's facility, while both Adani and Google are establishing data centers nearby. Building on our Cyberabad success, we're now creating Amaravati as a greenfield capital - a historic endeavor requiring 33,000 acres through innovative land pooling. Our development philosophy centers on wealth creation through urban transformation. The upcoming bullet train network will integrate 50 million residents across Hyderabad-Amaravati-Bangalore-Chennai, with Orvakal and Sri City emerging as key growth centers. Industrial development remains our pathway to prosperity and social welfare," the Chief Minister emphasized.

Startup Ecosystem Development

"We're establishing Ratan Tata Innovation Hubs across Tirupati, Anantapur, Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, and Visakhapatnam through public-private partnerships. Our 'One Family One Entrepreneur' initiative aims to cultivate entrepreneurship statewide. Tourism's immense potential for job creation and investment is being unlocked through strategic development of pilgrimage sites, national parks, and Buddhist heritage locations. Alongside expanding hotel capacity, we're promoting homestays to enhance visitor experiences. With 850,000 targeted jobs through investments, we're simultaneously transforming Amaravati into a model smart city featuring underground utilities and district cooling systems - concepts inspired by Singapore. Our abundant water resources, including the Krishna and Godavari rivers, provide additional development advantages," stated the Chief Minister.

Technology-Driven Investment Security

"Our coalition government prioritizes technological advancement through deep tech initiatives and tech-enabled education reforms. The Amaravati Quantum Valley project will integrate government services via data lakes and AI-powered WhatsApp interfaces. Our Green Hydrogen Valley initiative aligns with national clean energy targets of 160 GW production. Singaporean firms have significant opportunities in these sectors, as well as in Amaravati's construction, aerospace, defense, agri-tech, food processing, electronics, and semiconductor industries. I particularly encourage exploration of logistics, pharmaceuticals, biotech, and tourism investments. The Visakhapatnam summit offers the ideal platform for Singaporean enterprises to join our innovation-driven, globally competitive ecosystem. Having engaged with Singaporean government and business leaders, I reaffirm AP's position as India's most secure and promising east coast investment gateway," concluded CM Naidu.

Andhra-Singapore Startup Festival

The subsequent discussion highlighted several key initiatives, including a proposed AP-Singapore Startup Festival to empower young entrepreneurs - a suggestion that received the Chief Minister's enthusiastic endorsement. He reiterated his administration's steadfast support for startup ventures and confirmed readiness to host the festival. Ministers Lokesh, Narayana, TG Bharat, and senior AP government officials also participated in the summit.
