Best eco system prevailing in Visakhapatnam to set up industries:CM

VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that best eco system was prevailing in the state with industry-friendly policies to set up industries and Visakhapatnam is the right place for industrial growth. He said India is going to emerge as third largest economy in the world soon under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and best reforms brought by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman.

Adressing valedictory session of Global Capabililty Centre (GCC) Business summit organized by Confederation of Indian Industry here today, the Chief Minister said that the future is for GCC and Andhra Pradesh government is ready to extend cooperation for industrial growth with real time decision making. He said Andhra Pradesh is gifted with good air, road and rail connectivity. A Greenfield airport will be developed in Amaravati in addition to the existing airports at Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Tirupati and Kadapa. Bullet train was also proposed through Andhra Pradesh connecting Hyderabad and Chennai.

The Chief Minister said the state government focusing on developing Quantum valley with artificial intelligence and data lake. At the same time focus is on developing  Green energy and  hydrogen. He said at present 720 government services are being provided through Whatsapp governance. In addition Rata Tata Innovation Hubs were set up at five centres in the state. With a best combination of policy makers, industry and academics best eco system was prevailing in the state for establishment of industries.

The Chief Minister assuring full cooperation to all companies stated that Good Data centre is coming to Visakhapatnam. He said Andhra Pradesh has an advantage with long sea coast and the state government focusing on port-led economy.
