Bill Gates, Chairman of the Gates Foundation, visited an agricultural farm in Undavalli along with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. During the visit, he examined natural farming produce and reviewed agricultural practices being implemented in the state. Officials briefed him on the adoption of artificial intelligence and other advanced technological methods in the agriculture sector.
Gates personally visited the fields to observe how drones are being used to control crop pests and improve farm management. He later interacted directly with farmers, discussing agricultural practices and technological interventions.
Women farmers welcomed the Chief Minister and Bill Gates upon their arrival at the farm. They also offered locally prepared traditional dishes, which Gates tasted during the visit.
