Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the fire accident that occurred yesterday near Mandadam village in the Amaravati capital region.
During the tea break at the Collectors’ Conference, the Chief Minister held a review meeting with the Chief Secretary, Director General of Police (DGP), Intelligence Chief, and other concerned officials to assess the situation.
Officials briefed the Chief Minister on the nature of the incident, the extent of damage, and preliminary information regarding the fire. The blaze reportedly broke out at a storage facility belonging to contractor firms, where construction materials were stored, leading to significant losses.
Taking serious note of the incident, the Chief Minister directed officials to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the fire. He instructed that all aspects be examined thoroughly, particularly since the accident occurred at a time when construction works in Amaravati are progressing rapidly.
CM Chandrababu Naidu also asked officials to determine whether the incident was purely accidental or if there was any conspiracy involved, considering past experiences in the capital region
