CM Chandrababu PARTICIPATED 28th National Conference on e-Governance  in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going to inaugurate 28th National Conference on e-Governance  at Visakhapatnam tomorrow (Sept 22). The conference is being organized jointly by Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department,  Government of Andhra Pradesh for two days on Sept 22 and 23.

The theme of this year’s conference is Civil Service and Digital Transformation covering topics such as AI  for Viksit Bharat Civil Service and  Digital Transformation, Cyber security in e-Governance, benchmarking and Advancement of Service delivery and Agri Stack.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate as chief guest and Minister for IT, Human Resources will be guest of honour for the inaugural session to be held at Novotel, Visakhapatnam at 10 a.m on September 22. Union Minister of State Ministry of Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh  will participate as chief guest and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan as guest of honour for national awards for e-Governance programme at 3 p.m.

Chief Secretary K Vijayanand will deliver welcome address, followed by addressing by S Krishnan, Secretary Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, GoI, V Srinivas, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, GoI and Minister for Information and Technology, Andhra Pradesh N Lokesh. Chief Minister N chandrababu Naidu will deliver inaugural address at 10.45 a.m.

Coming to awards session V Srinivas, Secretary, DARPG will deliver welcome address, followed by speech of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Key note address will be delivered by Union Minister of State Ministry of Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh at 3.45 p.m.

On the concluding day on September 23 Plenary session on Civil Service and Digital Transformation will commence at 9.30 a.m followed by break out sessions on Exellence in e-Governance Initiatives, International Subsea cables and AI Data centres, Gram Panchayat and Grassroot level innovations in e-Governance, e-Governance initiatives of Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Cyber security in e-Governance and some other subjects. In the valedictory session Visakhapatnam Declaration on e-Governance 2025 will be announced by Sarita Chauhan, joint secretary, GoI, DARPG, followed by address by SN Tripathi, Director General, Indian Institute of Public Administration, GoI, AP Chief Secretary K Vijayanand and closing remarks by V Srinivas, Secretary GoI, DARPG.
