Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu's NDA coalition government is implementing numerous schemes to empower women financially. With the vision of making at least one member in every household an entrepreneur, CM Chandrababu Naidu is striving to promote economic independence, particularly among women. To encourage women entrepreneurs, the NDA government is offering a 45% subsidy on loans taken by women in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, stated Kesineni Janaki Lakshmi, wife of Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni).
On the occasion of International Women's Day, celebrations were organized on Friday under the leadership of Telugu Mahila leaders from the Western constituency at S.R. Convention Hall, Brahmana Veedhi, Vijayawada. Kesineni Janaki Lakshmi attended as the chief guest and received a warm welcome from Telugu Mahila leaders and women instrumentalists. Following the event, she was honored by the Telugu Mahila leaders, and she in turn felicitated the women musicians who performed traditional Mangala Vaidyam.
Speaking on the occasion, Kesineni Janaki Lakshmi emphasized the need for women to take steps toward empowerment. She highlighted that women possess immense strength and can achieve anything they set their minds to. She noted that while CM Chandrababu Naidu is working tirelessly for the state's development, his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari has successfully balanced both family and business as an entrepreneur. She urged women to draw inspiration from Nara Bhuvaneshwari and step into entrepreneurship.
