Day 2 of Udbhav-2025: Tribal Children Shine Brighter Than Ever
Spectacular Performances in Quiz, Mimicry, Shloka Recitation, Classical Music, Dance & More
29 out of 49 events completed so far; final results to be declared tomorrow
Amaravati, 04 December 2025: The vibrant campus of KL Deemed-to-be University continued to echo with the energy and creativity of tribal students as the second day of the 6th National EMRS Kala Utsav – Udbhav-2025 – unfolded with even greater enthusiasm.
22 competitive events were conducted throughout the day in quiz, mimicry, shloka recitation, solo & group folk and classical music, solo & group dance, devotional songs, and several other categories.
- Competitions ran non-stop from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM across 12 venues, turning every corner of the campus into a celebration of talent.
Medal Tally after Two Days (29 events completed)
- Odisha leads with 22 medals
- Telangana stands second with 20 medals
- Sikkim – 16 medals
- Uttarakhand – 13 medals
- Host Andhra Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh are jointly placed with 11 medals each (5th position)
Andhra Pradesh’s Golden Moments
The host state secured Gold medals in:
- Classical Music (Vocal)
- Aashu Kavitvam (Extempore Poetry in Telugu)
Silver medal in:
- Patriotic Group Song
Bronze medal in:
- English Senior Extempore Poetry
On the first day, Tripura, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha dominated the medal tally. The trend of outstanding performances continued on the second day, with children displaying extraordinary confidence and artistry.
Tomorrow – Grand Finale (Friday, 05 December 2025)
The final day will feature the remaining nine high-energy events, including:
- Regional Tribal Group Dance
- Karnatak Music (Vocal & Instrumental)
- Folk Orchestra
- One-Act Play (Naatika)
- Folk Music Ensemble
- Storytelling, Creative Writing, and Visual Arts
Results of the Drawing, Painting, Cartoon, and Indigenous Craft categories will also be announced tomorrow. The valedictory ceremony will be held at 5:00 PM, where overall championship trophies and the coveted Pratibha Puraskar awards will be presented to the winners.
Udbhav-2025 has truly lived up to its name – unearthing and celebrating the boundless talent hidden in India’s tribal heartlands. The campus is buzzing with excitement as everyone looks forward to a memorable grand finale tomorrow.
