Tributes Paid by MP Kesineni Sivanath and TDP Leaders

Vijayawada: MP Kesineni Sivanath praised the selfless contributions of Kesineni Venkayya, who worked for the upliftment of the underprivileged and strengthened the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Vijayawada as its first city convener without seeking any position. On Wednesday, Venkayya’s death anniversary was observed at the Vijayawada Parliament Office, NTR Bhavan, in Guru Nanak Colony. MP Kesineni Sivanath paid homage by garlanding Venkayya’s portrait, followed by tributes from other TDP leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Kesineni Sivanath recalled that his grandfather, Venkayya, served as the founder president of the Vijayawada Urban TDP. He not only contributed to the party’s growth but also stood by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) as a steadfast supporter. Venkayya was committed to the welfare of Dalits and the poor, even sacrificing his MLA seat to reinforce people's trust in TDP’s dedication to social justice. Sivanath vowed to uphold his grandfather’s ideals and work towards the development of the Vijayawada parliamentary constituency.

The event was attended by TDP State Secretary Chennupati Gandhi, TDP SC Cell Official Representative Parishapogu Rajesh, State Leaders Madigani Gurunatham, Senior Leader Narasimha Chowdary, Former Vijayawada Urban SC Cell President G.V. Narasimha Rao, Vijayawada Urban Minority Cell President M.D. Irfan, along with TDP leaders Yerneni Vedavyas, Abid Hussain, Dr. Sanke Vishwanatham, Veshapogu John Bhaskar Rao, and several party leaders and activists.
